Witness – Start/Stop Recording
Created On
bywebmaster
There are times when you may need to to stop recording a call when sensitive information (credit card details for example) is being relayed. For security and PCI compliance purposes, Witness provides you with a number of ways to achieve this. The simplest method is via star-commands on your handset.
- During a call, press *11 on your telephone keypad to stop recording
- During a call, press *22 on your telephone keypad to restart recording
The Witness recording will have a period of silence for the duration that recording was switched off.
You can program keys on your handset to perform these star-commands if you prefer.
