Due to the success Mother Technologies has recently achieved in the Scottish central belt, the company has taken the decision to open two new branch offices in order to better serve the region. The offices are located centrally in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Mother Technologies was established in 2002 by Mr Steve Redhead, Managing Director and Mr Leslie Tulloch, Technical Director. An IT, telecom, cloud and connectivity provider, they work with SME businesses, local government and non-profit organisations.
In addition to the new offices, Mother has further solidified their commitment to the region with the provision of local datacentre facilities in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee as well as in Aberdeen. Businesses are increasingly recognising and up taking on the financial benefits that outsourced data hosting can offer, and this has been a key growth area for Mother over the last year.
Notable projects the company has undertaken lately include the installation of a complete hosted IT and telecoms system for Johnston Fuels, the largest independent oil, gas and fuel distributor in Scotland, as well as installation of a centralised IT system with an inter-site connectivity network for Turning Point Scotland, a charitable organisation providing social care services with 44 connected office branches spread across Scotland.
Mr Redhead said “I’m excited about this next chapter in Mother Technologies’ story. We are well recognised as a trusted IT and telecoms provider, but we have always continued to look for ways to better serve our customers by offering the most complete and holistic service we can. In recent years our connectivity and data hosting services have really taken off, and we pride ourselves in being an end to end, one stop provider that our customers can absolutely count on. Now that we offer a more local presence for our southern customers, I’m looking forward to continued development of those relationships, and some new ones too.”
